EDITORIAL WORK
EQUESTRIAN PHOTOGRAPHY WITH AN ARTISTIC SPIRIT
St. Clair photographs assignments spanning portraiture, fashion, sport, travel and equestrian culture. Previous work has appeared in and on the covers of leading equestrian publications including Horse & Style, Noelle Floyd, and Sidelines Untacked.
Bret and Sophie are available for commissioned editorial work and actively collaborate with editors on original photographic stories from across the horse world. Editors and publications are invited to discuss assignments, commissions and original story ideas.

Saint Clair Photography is drawn to high-performance horse sport at its most exacting. We focus on the riders, horses and venues where years of preparation are distilled into a matter of seconds.
Our ambition is to photograph the best riders in the sport at the venues that define it, creating images that treat show jumping not simply as competition, but as athletic performance, horsemanship and visual art.

A FATHER-DAUGHTER TEAM UNITED BY LOVE OF THE HORSE
Saint Clair Photography is a father-daughter studio documenting the world of the horse through portraiture, editorial storytelling and commissioned photography.
Long before Saint Clair was a studio, Bret St. Clair was photographing his daughter growing up around horses. Over three decades behind the camera taught Bret how quickly those moments disappear; a lifetime as a horsewoman taught Sophie which ones matter.
From private portraits and international Grand Prix sport to fashion, barns, grooms, hunts and racing, our work looks beyond competition to the people, places and traditions that make up equestrian life.
